My Story
I am thankful for what I was given and happy for what IÂ have chosen.
Hello, I'm trisha, a student of political science and Ancient history, who just loves food and is a complete sucker of television series (k-dramas specifically). I like reading books (cannot call myself a nerd, it would be an exaggeration) but I read time to time.
I fell in love with a language(English) at a very young age and it changed me completely. I was more of shy and underconfident type of kid, who technically was pressured to be the top scorer of the classes and I used to do what I was told definitely without using my own head. I was someone who almost chose a life that was decided by others, thankfully I didn't (I call it my near death experience)
But how a language saved me, that's the question here, right?
It saved me by introducing me to people who were independent and brave, art forms that were different yet beautiful, thoughts that told me to choose my life on my own, to build it on my own and to be on my own.
If I was not able to read or understand those things, I don't know what type of hell I'd have been living.
And finally here I am doing something that's my choice and that I love.
